116- We brought in a small group to work on the last step of the balance provocation- the asymmetric paper sculptures.  In our Design Team meeting today, the second grade team and I presented a timeline display of this provocation from start to finish. We had a discussion about how many standards this provocation can cover.  The key is documentation and reflection on the part of the teacher.

118- I had another small group working on the asymmetric paper sculptures.

108- We had two small groups going.  One group was finishing their identity wall portraits and another was starting the same project. We're hoping to have the students finish their identity walls before the end of the week when my student teacher leaves.






112- We worked on the mural.  The mural is pretty amazing.  We found that placement of the background does matter and some beautiful images were covered. We're going to critique and brainstorm a fix for that next time. 

This piece is so interesting.
