We had a meeting yesterday with the Burchfield-Penney Art Gallery and I'm pleased to announce that we will be partnering with them for the rest of the school year!  The partnership will involve gallery visits, visits from docents to our school and a long-term project.

116- I brought the last group of students in to begin their study of balance in the atelier.

108- Three girls finished building habitats in the block area of their room, so they came with me to draw the habitats in an observational drawing style. This was a great opportunity to work really closely with the students on improving their eye for detail and technique.

112- The students finished their ocean habitats.

101- The preschool students are painting the background of their Spring mural.

104- The other half of the class came in to paint their bear cave and work on observational drawings from the farm field trip.
