We've been having professional development with Cadwell Collaborative this week. Today, we took a break from our training to take the pre-k students to the Burchfield Penney Art Center for the first field trip of the year.
This was the first trip to an art gallery for many of our pre-k students. We had siblings and parents serving as chaperones, which is fantastic! The students toured the exhibits and even had a session in the studio, creating artwork based on waves and the theme of water.

I thought this would make an excellent provocation to collect the
goals our students have for the year ahead of us. |
